When we are God’s children, we are called by His name. We are dedicated to God. being a child of god, we must humble ourselves before God. We must realize that we have failures and inabilities. We will have to repent of our sins. We must renew our commitment to follow in the ways of God. His plans, desires, and purposes. Humbling ourselves means to recognize how we need God’s mercy.
Praying to God, is calling on Him for His mercy, complete trust, and depend on Him for help. One’s prayers must come form a heart that is faithful. Even if we feel that we keep asking our need over and over and over; WE need to continue until God answers them.
As a child of God, we must seek him. We need to turn toward him in all situations in our lives. Seek His presence in our lives. Seek hIs Presence with passion. e need to bond with Him, but not for selfish reasons. For example, when we are facing trials, hardships, natural disasters, and conflicts, its easy to run to God, but not because we want a relationship with him. It must be to fulfill his purpose. Seeking God is a way to have a revival. To seek God means to desire him desperately and to seek God with all your heart. Desiring to have a deeper relationship with God. A greater commitment to him and to his purposes. Seeking God means to turn away form evil influence and sin, be committed to purity and holiness. Seeking God requires one to desire to do what is right. Experience God’s presence, is seeking God. Seeking God is to not offend him, but committing to God’s plan for your life.
In order to turn from our wicked ways, we have to repent!! One needs to sincerely make a complete change. One must confess, forsake sin, and make God top priority in one’s life. We will then depend on God for His forgiveness. We do these things, God will not be angry with His children. Instead, He will hear their prayers. Will will anger prayer and respond with mercy towards his followers. He will forgive and cleanse His children spiritually.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving us. Thank you for being merciful and graceful towards us. Please forgive me of all my sin and wrong doing. I love you. I desire to seek you.
