Who Will Go To Heaven

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many Mighty works in your name?’  And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, your workers are Lawlessness.   Matthew 7:21-23

Jesus taught the carrying out God’s purposes and desire was a condition for entering the kingdom of heaven.   This does not mean that we can earn spiritual salvation by our own efforts or work. God‘s forgiveness comes to us through faith and repentance. Repentance is limiting our sin turning away from our own way and submitting to God and following his purposes. Salvation is made by the grace and sacrificial death of Christ, who gave his perfect life to pay the ultimate penalty for our sins.

The obedience to God’s will by Christ is an ongoing condition for salvation, it does not save us, but it is a response and a result of true salvation.  It is by God’s power and grace that enables us to live by his standards. We must continually pray for that Grace, receive it, and put it into action by true faith and devotion to Christ.   The gift of God‘s power and grace, we are capable of doing God’s will and living right as we follow Christ with all of our heart. God‘s Word says that by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is a gift from God because we are his workmanship.   God gives us the strength and ability to obey him and overcome send. This is a part of the full salvation he works out through those who have entrusted their lives to him and have been restored to a personal relationship with Jesus.  We must respond to God ‘s Gift of obedience positively.

We can always reject God’s grace we can refuse to pray and   And refuse to depend on Christ.   Jesus says that there will be many who believe they are serving him and we appear to be doing good works for him, yet in reality they never had a real true relationship with Christ .  Wheels true followers must become pleat Lee committed to the truth revealed in gods word. We must never consider outward success or results from ministry as a standard by which we determine our relationship with Christ. Each of us must strive to have a deep, true, real relationship with Christ. We must live by the instructions and guidelines of God’s  word

Jesus makes it clear that People will speak about him and then be involved and powerful, supernatural activity, but in their hearts they have no true personal relationship with him.  There will be a day when it will be revealed truly truly follow Jesus and who didn’t.

Where do you stand on this line?

Are you truly wholeheartedly following Christ?

Or are you playing the part of a follower but your heart is not truly following Christ?

I think this is a subject matter that daily we have to be evaluating. What is our purpose And what we do for Jesus?

Dear heavenly father,

Thank you for your word. Thank you that we Get to study your word daily. God I pray that every day we will seek our heart and make sure that is power before you. I pray that we will serve you to truly have a relationship with you.

In Jesus Name

Amen
