It is hard to wait for the Lord. It’s hard waiting to see how he will handle things. We get impatient and take things into our own hands. We are then not putting our trust in our God. We must wait and hope only on what he has spoken.
Waiting means to look for, to hope, to expect. When we wait for God, we are expecting him to do his will. When we wait on the Lord we are showing we have no others gods in our lives.
Can you? Will you? Wait for the Lord with sincerity?
Will you hope in the Word of God?
Know that God keeps his promises and he is worthy to be waited on.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Waiting is so hard. I ask that you help us with this, that waiting for you and your plan is way better than what we could ever do in the situation. Help us to trust you in all things.
