We are saved by God’s gift of Grace through faith. As christians, we are required to obey Christ. We, christians, will go before the judgement seat of Christ, to be judge by the way we conduct ourselves. We must speak and act that is pleasing to God. We must act and speak in ways that are obedient to God. God will judge those who show favoritism because it breaks the law of love. Verse 12, is speaking to believers, not unbelievers. this is not a condemning judgement. It’s a judgement to check our words, actions, and motives. We will be judged on our faithfulness or our unfaithfulness to God in the use of our abilities and responsibilities.
God will look at all aspects of our lives – our secrets, our character, our words, our good deeds, our attitudes, our motives, our lack of love, and our work and service to God and others.
God in his mercy can be the only one to forgive us of our sins. WE don’t get forgiveness by forgiving others. We also cannot withhold forgiveness to others. God mercifully forgives us, we should also do so to others.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for you just judgement. Thank you for your forgiveness. I pray that you will check each of our hearts and make them pure. Bring to our attention things that need to be forgiven and let go of. To walk away from what offends you in our lives.
