There is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call – one lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and father of all who is Over all and through all and in all. But Grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ gift.
The Christian faith and unity is the confession of One Lord . Jesus Christ’s work of redemption is that there is only One Lord. This is perfect and sufficient! There is no other savior or mediator that can bring us to God. Jesus is the only one that can provide the opportunity for salvation. It is only through Christ Jesus that we can come near to God. It really is because of the cross! If we give loyalty to anything else then the one Lord, we are rejecting Christ Jesus and cutting off the life that is in him the unity of the spirit. The measure of Christ grace is the implication, a limited portion of himself, our gift.
