Christ knows what it is like to be tempted. He knows what our weaknesses are. Jesus is moved with compassion by our weaknesses. He is also able to relate to us in our experiences in life. Therefore, we can come confidently to the throne of grace. We can approach God with confidence. We can know and trust that our prayers are welcomed and desired by our Heavenly Father. This meeting place is called the “throne of grace” because it is the flow of God’s favor, love, help, mercy, forgiveness, wisdom, spiritual power, spiritual gifts, and the fruits of the spirit. God offers so much to us under Grace. Yet, all we have to do is asked for forgiveness. We don’t pay the penalty of sin when we ask for forgiveness and follow Christ. Look at what God gives us in return when we choose Him!
I love that I serve a God that I can approach the throne of grace. I can meet with him daily. God provides all that we need in any situation. One blessing of salvation is that Jesus Christ is our high priest. Our mediator between God and people. Jesus is the only reason we get to be in God’s presence and always find the help we need.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for the cross. As you know, without that we would not be able to approach your throne of grace. You offer so much to your children. I pray that we will seek to know you more and to serve and love you more. Thank you that we can approach the throne with confidence.
