God has gifted us with specific interests, talents, and abilities that he wants us to use to serve Him and others. We are all individuals that God created. He created each of us uniquely. There are things that no one else in the world can do quite like you can. These qualities are typically related to the interest and opportunities that God gives to us. When we compare our gifts, talents, and abilities to others, we feel that they are not as important as someone else’s. You have to stop comparing yourself to others and realize that God gives all us important gifts, talents, and abilities to contribute to His purpose. When we don’t appreciate our own individual qualities that God gives us, we are mocking God. As with everything else in our life that we have to trust God with, we also have to trust that God know what he is doing with what gifts, talents, and abilities he is giving to us to use for him and others.
We must also not keep these qualities to ourselves. We need to share them others. God wants to bless and encourage others through us. Each of us is a gift from God to each other. If we do not use them, God will take them back.
Do you know what your talents, interest, and abilities are?
Do you share them with others?
Or do you keep them to yourself?
Do you honor God with what He has given to you?
Do you compare yourself with others?
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for the wonderful way you have made each of us. I pray that each of us will use what you have given to us to share with everyone. Help each of us not to compare ourselves to one another, but to use and appreciate what you want to use us for.
In Jesus Name
Amen
