Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6
The turning point in our following God’s will is God has a God-sized assignment for us. We will realize we can’t do it by ourselves. We have to realize the only way to not fail is we need God’s help. This is the point where we are in crisis!! Are we willing to do what God is asking of us or are we going to walk away?
Crisis comes from a word that means decision. The same Greek word is often translated judgment. Our crisis of belief is the turning point of where we must make a decision. At this moment, we have to decide on what we believe about God. This will determine whether we will go forward with God in His will! This won’t be a one time experience but a daily one.
“Now Jericho was strongly fortified because of the Israelites — no one leaving or entering. The Lord said to Joshua, “Look, I have handed Jericho, its king, and its fighting men over to you. March around the city with all the men of war, circling the city one time. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry seven ram’s-horn trumpets in front of the ark. But on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the trumpets. When there is a prolonged blast of the horn and you hear its sound, have all the people give a mighty shout. Then the city wall will collapse, and the people will advance, each man straight ahead.””
Joshua 6:1-5
What is the crisis in these verses?
Joshua lead his army in walking around the city expecting the walls to fall down by blowing trumpets. This is where they had to decide to believe God could someone what he said he would do. The crisis of belief is an encounter with Hod that requires faith. The encounters with God are God sized. How you respond to God’s revelation reveals what you believe. True faith requires us to action.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your God size moments. I pray that we will choose you and your will. I pray that we will bribe in you and your ways.
