Abide In Me

As the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you.  Remain in My love.  If you keep my commands  you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s  commands and remain in His love.  I have spoken these things to you so the My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.  This is My command: Love one another as I have loved you.  John 15:9-12

  God loves his Son.  The father and son have a divine relationship.  As then this shows Jesus relationship with His disciples.  God loves deeply and Jesus is able to love like God the Father.  Jesus loves us deeply, purely, fully, eternally, and with perfectness which much belong to the divine affection of our Triune God.

Jesus is asking us to remain in His love.  We need to continue to be in love with Him, when we do so, we are blessed to be drawn closer to Him.  We have an atmosphere of sweet and sacred connection to God.

If we Keep God’s commands, we will abide in His love.  We will be in God’s will and have communion with Him.  We will stay in His stronghold of His love.

Through this love He offers joy.  We can have joy through all things, good or bad.  I know that might seem hard, however, I have experienced it.  It really can be joy in all things.

Since God and Jesus love us, we must now love one another.  He commands it.  Since we have the Holy Spirit in us, we are capable of loving one another.  We have to love one another as Christ loves us.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for loving us.  Thank you Jesus for loving us.  Please help us to remain in you and to love others.
