According To His Own Mercy

But after the kindness and love of God our savior  toward man appeared, he saved us, not because  of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,  Titus 3:4-5

God sure does show us kindness and love.  We have no excuse for being self – exalted or mistreating of others in thoughts or action.  Since God shows us mercy, we are to show mercy to others. Our changed life is attributable to the manifestation of man because of God.  He appeared to us in human form.  God lived among us to save us, not for the works we do but by His mercy and grace.

God’s compassion for us in our sin, his love is free, unmerited love, saved us.  We are only saved by the mercy and grace of God, the suffering of Christ, and the Holy Spirit working on us.  God the father is God our savior.  He is the fountain which the Spirit flows.  He teaches, regenerates, and saves his fallen people.  God made us pure.  He brings new life to us.  We are no longer separated from God when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Have you accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior?

If you haven’t, why not accept him now!

If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, Where is the Holy Spirit speaking you to on?  Do you have a chain that need to be broken?  Do you need to forgive? Do you need to offer mercy and grace to someone?

Let deal with these things now!!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you for sending you Son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins.  I thank you for your mercy and grace you offer to me. Lord, forgive me of my sins.  I want to live for you and have you be Lord and savior in my life.  I want to life each day for your glory.

God, I ask that you speak to our hearts and let the Holy Spirit leads us where you want us to go.  Speak to us now on what we need to let go of and be in obedience to you.

In Jesus Name

Amen
