Here we have come to the end of our advent season. Soon we will be putting decorations away and going back to our routine of life. I hope you have learned a different aspect to Christmas this season.
Here are a few activities to do by yourself or with friends and family.
Can I challenge you with the New year around the corner to take the time and talk about God’s love with your friends and family. Will you share your great love of God and His love for you with others?
How about spreading the love of Christ with others around you? Discover a local organization or ministry where you can volunteer your time. It could be a food bank, a coat drive, or people needing assistance financially. Another thing to do is pray and let God lead you to who needs a letter of gratitude. People need to know that you appreciate them. Pick someone who needs you to spend with them one on one, whether it’s a friend, a spouse, a child, or a lonely person. Be the hands and feet of Jesus to others. Let this attitude of advent be all year round.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving us so much that you sent your son to save us. I pray that as this season comes to an end, we will take what we learn this season and show it to others this New year.
