This is a busy, busy time of year! We get too focused on our to-do list. We get so caught up in the have to’s or the responsibilities, that we forget to slow down and enjoy one another!
This is a great time of year to shine the light of Jesus to others. To offer more love to others!
Take time today to make some homemade cookies or Christmas goodies. Invite family or friends to come along and help you. Reflect on the peace of God this season. Research for new recipes to make, for example, try finding a recipe to make homemade Marshmallows. Set a time to rest. It’s ok to slow down and do nothing. Just take the time to sit in His peace. Another fun activity to do for yourself or as a family is to make a peaceful jar. Go onto Pinterest and search peaceful jar. See what you can come up with to do.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending peace to our world! I pray that we will look to our ultimate peacemaker on how to be towards others. I pray that this season we will shine of you: love, peace, and joy!
