Anchored Hope

that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.  This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the presence behind the veil.  Hebrews 6:18-19

We can trust God and his word because He can’t lie.  God’s nature and his promises don’t change.  He is trustworthy.  Our hope is secure because of who God is.

A ship’s anchor holds it safely in place, this is what our faith and hope in Christ does.  It assures our safety and security as long as we are anchored in him.  Our anchor goes up into heaven, into the inner place behind the veil.

Are you anchored deeply into God?

Do you trust Him?

Are you secure in him? or is there doubt? uncertainty?

Do you believe in God?

Go before God with openness, honesty, and sincerity, to save you from you sins. He will do it! He will then take you and mold you into who you are to be in Christ.

This truth in hope should give you assurance, encouragement, confidence, peace, and joy.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for being our anchor in this world we live in.  I pray that we will trust you in all in things.
