Paul was in tuned to God and had wisdom. In this verse, Paul is warning Christians to be on guard against philosophies, religions, and traditions that teach being independent from God and his ways. One of the greatest philosophy threat, today, is secular humanism. Humanism is any thought system based on values, characteristics, and behaviors that are believed to be best in human beings rather than any supernatural authority. Philosophy is an idea, view, belief, value system, in a way of life. It’s the excepted religion in most secular education, government, and society in general. Is the established.
What does a philosophy of humanism teach? It teaches that humanity, the universe, and all that exist consist only of matter and energy shaped into the natural present formed by natural physical forces and impersonal champs. It teaches that God is not the creator. It denies the personal, all powerful, and infinite God. Human philosophy claims that knowledge doesn’t exist apart from human discovery and human reasoning of correct ethics. This proclamation makes humans the highest authority. This philosophy six to modify and improve human behavior through our own means. Such as, education, economic policy, organizations, modern philosophy, and human wisdom. All Christian leaders, ministers, and parents must do their best to protect our children and others from the humanist doctrine. We must expose the errors of this thinking. We must teach her children the ways of God, to teach them the truth of God.
This is just one of the many philosophies that are out in our world today we need to be alert and we need to be educating ourselves to be on guard.
