And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness to Tekoa. and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed. 2 Chronicles 20:20

Jehoshaphat spoke to his soldiers to not put trust in their armor but to believe in God. To give God credit in his word from the prophets. Jehoshaphat assured them they would prosper and succeed.
Through their faith, they praised and gave thanks to God. They praised his holiness. they kept a day of praise in their camp. Jehoshaphat designated a day where they praised God in their camp.
True courage inspired by faith for a person. We face hard situations in our lives. We cannot run from it. We can only fix our hearts to trust God. We will be in perfect peace. Our praises and thanksgiving must not only be for one day but daily. Again when we have faith in who God is we can move mountains in our hardships in our lives through God. He is in control. His will be done.
How much do you believe in the Lord your God?
Do you put your faith in him?
Do you believe in His word?
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your guidance and help in this life. I pray that we will believe in you. I pray that we will praise and give thanks to you daily.
