    Reflection Day

Today is Reflection Day!  I really love reflection day.  It’s a time for me to go back and reflect on what God has spoken to me about.  It gives me time to pray and seek God about what he wants to speak to change in my life.  It gives me time to make a game plan of putting action to what God is telling me and asking of me. So!! Get your journals, pens, and bible and spend time with God.  Listen to him and obey him.  When you get uncomfortable with the quiet, just stay there and give God time to do what he wants. Take time today and…

And he will be called wonderful Counselor, mighty God, everlasting father, Prince of peace.  Isaiah 9:6 Do you have a nickname? Or special names you are called? Jesus has many names he was called. His first special name was called wonderful Counselor, mighty God, eternal father, Prince of peace. Does any of these names resonates with you? In all honesty, they all mean a lot to me. For today though I want to focus on the name prince of peace. Jesus is the prince of peace. When he was…

    Cast Your Cares

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalms 55:22  How are you feeling today?  Are you anxious or scared? Concerned?   There are so many things happening in our world, we can become any of the emotions I mention above.  One thing or maybe I should say person that can help us when we have these feelings is God.  Whenever we are facing difficulties that is too much for us to handle on our own, God tells us to put the weight of our worries on him. God will carry us through and walk along side us through…

    Digging Deeper

Do you love that we get to grow deeper in our faith?  That we serve a living God.  That God loves us and pursues us.  Let’s take today and dig deeper into God’s word.   Let’s read Isaiah 54:8, Isa. 57:17, Isa 64:7, and Jer. 33:5 When is God hiding His face? Why does God hide his face from us? Read Psalm 66:18; Isaiah 59:2, Amos 8:11-12, Hab. 1:13 God hides his face because he is angry for sin.  When God withdraws his face if means that he is withdrawing the experience we have in his presence, His rejection of sin, and his refusal to see, hear, or speak.  This…

Are you bubbly of joy?  Are you lukewarm? Is your relationship with God…
