    Knowing God

Jesus said, ‘This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”  John 17:3 How much do you want to know God? How do you get to know God? Knowing God does not come from a program or a method.  It’s a relationship.  It’s an intimate love relationship with God.  Through this relationship, God reveals His will to us.  He invites us to join HIm with where he is at work.  Obeying God, He accomplishes things through us only he can do. When you come to know God more intimately by experiencing God at work in you. I pray as…

    Reflection Day

Good Morning, Friends! Today is Reflection Day!  I really love reflection day.  It’s a time for me to go back and reflect on what God has spoken to me about.  It gives me time to pray and seek God about what he wants to speak to change in my life.  It gives me time to make a game plan of putting action to what God is telling me and asking of me. So!! Get your journals, pens, and bible and spend time with God.  Listen to him and obey him.  When you get uncomfortable with the quiet, just stay there and give God time to do what he wants. Take…

What Great Love The Father Has Given

See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children – and we are!  The reason the world does not know us is that it didn’t know him.  1 John 3:1 Have you ever had something in your life that left you speechless?  You couldn’t shake it from your mind!  You were awestruck by this moment.

    Christ’s Love Compels Us

For the love of Christ compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died. And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the one who died for them and was raised.   From now on, then, we do not know anyone from a worldly perspective. Even if we have known Christ from a worldly perspective, yet now we no longer know him in this way.  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!  Everything is from God, who has…

    Love An Action

This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us.  We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.  If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his need – how can God’s love reside in him?  Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action. This is how we will know we belong to the truth and will convince our conscience in his presence, …  1 John 3:16-19 How did your grandparents or parents show their love for one another?  I was lucky to have grandparents and…

    God’s Idea of Love

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.  God’s love was revealed among us in this way:  God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.  Love consists in this:  not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiations for our sins.  Dear Friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another.  No one has ever seen God.  If we love one another, God remains…

    God Loved

For God loved the world in this way:  He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.  John 3:16-17 Are you a gift giver or do you like to receive gifts?  I love gifts.  I love receiving them.  However, I am not a gift giver.  I struggle in this area.  Do you?  I am a rule follower and I have rules to buying gifts.  I think this take the joy out of giving gifts.…
