Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
Do you meet with you church family? Or do others priorities come first? Koinonia – fellowship with God and other believers, is not an option for believers. It’s not optional for a church. This is a deep level of relationship with God. Having this with God and Jesus Christ produces fellowship with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. When we can live with others who have significant differences and still have peace, the world will see something only Hod can do. This, also can be broken. Broken fellowship can be because of sin and broken fellowship with God. We need to be praying for one another.
We need to go back and work on our relationship with God. When we are not in fellowship with God, is usually is an indicator that one party are not in fellowship with God. This is when you really have to seek God’s wisdom over the situation. Broken fellowship with one another does not always mean sin and a broken relationship with God. But that is for another day.
God wants us to be in relationship with each other and with him. When the Holy Spirit is convicting is of sin. We need to confess and repent and come back to fellowship with God and other believers.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that we will seek you and have fellowship with you and other believers. I pray that when we are in a disagreement. We will seek the Holy Spirit for guidance of what is the source of this. If it is sin I pray we will confess and repent and come back to you.
In Jesus Name
Amen
