Do you have absolute surrender to God?
Do you know that God is interested in absolute surrender?
There are many different kinds of adjustment that one may have to make when we surrender to God. It also make require more than one area of adjustments to be made. Here is a list of areas of adjustments that we may have to make in our lives: In our circumstances (job, home, finances, and others), in our relationships (family, friends, business associates, and others), in our thinking (prejudices, methods, your potential, and others), in our commitments (to family, church, job, plans, tradition, and others), in our actions (how to pray, give, serve, and others), in our beliefs (about God, His purposes, His ways, your relationship with Him, and others). These are just a few that we will work with. These adjustments will come when we are acting on our faith. The mental part of making adjustments are probably the easiest. The hard part of adjustments is actually the action, actually doing the adjustment that shows our faith.
Some adjustments can involve several of these at one time. Look at Peter. His adjustments with Cornelius were with the Gentiles, his thinking, and beliefs about what is clean and unclean, his commitments to the traditions of the Jews, and his actions towards fellowship with Gentiles. Have you recognized if any of this adjustments are happening in your life? Make a list if you have noticed any. For example, I had an adjustment that required me to leave my hometown and change my way of living for God to use me.
God will ask us to make adjustments in areas in our lives where we never considered or been opened to in the past. He wants to be Lord of your life. When you refuse an area of allowing His lordship to rule in that area, that is the area he will go to work on until we are willing to let Him be Lord. Remember God loves you, and he always wants what is best for you. When we have surrender and the follow with obedience, you will experience God through you something only God can do. We cannot stay where we are at and go with God in obedience to his will.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for show us people in the Bible that have made adjustments in their lives to obey you, to be completely surrendered to you. I pray that we will be willing to make the adjustments in our lives to serve you.
