Before this week, what did you know about revival? What things do you tend to hold onto for security? Read Hosea 10:12-13. Can you summarize these verses?
During the time of Hosea, the people had replaced God. What are some things that you have replaced God with. Here are some more scripture verses to read. Matthew 10:28; Acts 5:29, Ephesians 5:3-4, Colossians 3:12-13, Luke 24:47-48, Romans 9:3, 1 Timothy 2:1, 1 Corinthians 13: 1-8, and Colossians 3:12.
Journal what God is speaking to you about these verses. Then pray over these things. Pray that you will return to your first love. Pray that you desire for God’s word will be rekindled. Pray that conflict will be resolved. Pray over broken marriages. Pray that bitterness, fear and worry will be removed. Pray for anything that Holy Spirit lays upon your heart.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being our loving, caring God. I pray that we will seek you and turn back to you if we have walked away from you in any areas of our lives.
