Do you know someone who is or has lived a holy life? How does this encourage you to do the same?
Why is it important to confess our secret sin to others? What effect could this have on others? Have you seen any evidence of God at work in others?
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” The bible urges us to be active in pursuing a life of holiness. How can we cooperate with God and grow in our personal holiness?
Holy people love God. They are concerned about pleasing God from the inside and outside. Holy people have the heart to love and serve others. Holy people bow to the authority of Scripture and live obedient lives. They are patient with others who are still in process. They humble themselves. They also base their convictions on the standards of God’s word. They are real.
What have you learned about hypocrisy? What is God showing you in your own life? Are there any changes that need to happen?

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that we will have the heart to dig deep into your word. I pray that we will listen to what you are telling us and be humble about it. I pray that we will have the heart to please you and to live according to your word.
In Jesus Name
Amen
