Obedience!! Do you find it hard or easy? Do you understand what God expects of us with obedience??
Read 1 John 2:3-6. What do we learn about the word know? How do we know we have come to know God? What happens if we do t know God?
Let’s read Jeremiah 7:23. Read John 7: 16-17.
What are some benefits of obedience? God blesses those who obey him. The benefits of obeying are beyond our imagination. Here are a few though to mention. First, we are God’s people, we have a solid foundation when we go through storms of life, and we will spiritual truths. How good is our God!?!?
What is a command or instruction who have obeyed God? Do you have or have had a long term instruction to obey God? Have you had a response that was your idea and not God’s? Where would you rate yourself at with obedience? One being completely disobedient to a ten – which is perfect and we are not perfect. Take some time to pray over these questions and spend time with God reflecting in your life. If there is disobedience. What is the root of it?
Are you willing to work on obedience in your life?
Dear heavenly father,
you are a wonderful God. Thank you for wanting to be involved in our lives and inviting us to be a part of your life. Father I pray that we will search our hearts areas in our life that we are not being obedient. I pray that we will ask for forgiveness and turn away from that area of disobedience that we would choose to obey you.Thank you for second chances or more.
