Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing, you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Roman 12:2
God has told us not to confirm to this world. However, let’s be honest, it’s hard not to conform to this world, and the many different levels of its likeness. We, Christians, have to firmly resist the temptation to accept and imitate the world’s thinking and Behaviors.
The world is filled with evil and we must not adopt the worlds away. Satan is the ruler and is hostile towards God and his people. The world is built on human wisdom and values. The world holds a worldview that we Christians must be aware of and not except it but reject it. The world rejects God and his standards. God’s kingdom is not of this world this world’s kingdom is filled with spiritual darkness, deception, and seduction. Followers of Jesus are called to be the light in this dark world. We should reflect a positive difference to those around us that are in the world. So they will take notice. For them to take notice, we will have to resist the temptation to conform to the variation of society such as greed, selfishness, human thinking, desire for power, Envy, hate, revenge, filthy language, sexual lust, , Ungodly entertainment, and modest dress, being seductive, substance abuse, relationships that don’t honor God, and other things that defy God’s word.
Armind should continually be renewed and transformed, so it’s not conforming to the world. This will happen as we spend time in prayer, God’s word, meditating on his word, and applying it to our lives. This will direct us to God’s truth and values. When we have a transformed life through Christ, we can discern and follow God’s will.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that we will be conformed to you and not this world! I pray that we will resist the ways of this world. Help us to be your light that shines so others in the world will see you!
