As we have said before, so now I say again: if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9
To all Christians, got to Mansurs to defend the faith. We are to have a loving attitude when confronting others. When teachers, ministers, and others in the church are denying the foundational truths top by Jesus and the apostles, we are two separate ourselves from them. This is taught in verses eight through nine; Romans chapter 16: 17-18, and 2 Corinthians 6: 17.
We need to know what to these biblical truths are. They are the deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus is fully God and human through his virgin birth. The full inspiration and absolute authority of God’s word. Then the historical facts of the fall of Adam. The inherent corruption of human nature that resulted in the original sin. The spiritual salvation available because of God’s grace. Then the truth of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The miracles from God in the Old Testament and New Testament. The truth of Satan and demons are spiritual beings. The teachings about hell in Christ return to earth. These are all truth! Biblical truth! Ones that we do not add or delete from the original foundation of God’s message.
We need to know the Bible so that we know if someone is adding or deleting from the Bible. We have to take the adding and deleting are the words of God very seriously. We need to know that if we add or delete to God’s original message there will be serious consequences for those choices.
Do you know the Bible well enough to discern when someone is adding or deleting the truth?
Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you in this area?
are you spending enough time in God’s Word to know His truth?
Do you understand the consequences of twisting God’s Truth- his word?
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for you word! I pray that we will know it and live by it. I pray that we do t add to it or take away from it!
