Paul recognizes God’s comfort and mercies. He thanks God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for all of his mercy and comfort. Paul is showing jubilant adoration towards God. He boldly comes to the throne. Have you taken the time to adore and thank God for his mercy and comfort? Do you boldly come to the throne?
God is the Father of Mercies. His compassion and readiness to forgive the repentant person. God wants to give us mercy and comfort in hard times. Are you willing to let God’s mercy comfort you during hard times? Do you resort to angry towards God because of what you are going through. God walks with us in all things. He offers his comfort and his mercy in all things. All you have to do is trust him and let him have control. Trust in his will, His plan for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your comfort in hard things that we go through. Thank you for your mercy. God, help us to realize we need to trust you and lean into you with life’s journey. Only you make things good. We may not understand the why now, but one day we will. Help us to have the trust in you to stay with you.
In Jesus Name
Amen
