What questions come to mind?
Will I really die because of sin?
I am a good, kind, person will I still go to hell?
What exactly is the gift of eternal life?
Shame came into the world with sin. Sin ends with death. Death is the just compensation of sin. It may seem great but in the end, it will be bitterness. When made free from sin, from condemnation, believers are set at liberty. If we are producing holiness and growing in grace and have active principle in truth, believers will have eternal life. It maybe a hard, bumpy journey, however, the end result is eternal life. When we accept Jesus Christ as our savior, the gift of God is eternal life. Christ purchased it and prepared it. Christ is our all in all in our salvation.
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for dining on the cross for my sins. Thank you for your gift of eternal life in heaven with you. I thank you that as I am here on earth, I can have a personal relationship with you. God please forgiven me of my sins __________________.
