How would you define faith? What does Hebrews 11:1 define faith? There are two words from Hebrews 11:1, they are hoped for and unseen. They don’t make an exact science of faith. The less evidence of the nature of walking by faith rather than by sight has its obvious risks. Perfectionism can be hard when we have faith. We often have to admit that we were wrong. Failure may be painful, but it is rarely fatal. We can all move on from it. According to Hebrews 11:6, faith is what pleases God, not perfection.
Read Philippians 2:13 in the King James Version. Then in Strong’s definition, look up the following words and record any insights that you may have learned. Worketh, Will, Do, and pleasure. The Greek word for energeo is used twice. What insights do you learn from it being repetitive? Philippians 2:13 talks about God’s practicality. God works on us so that we can work for Him.

Read Daniel 12:4 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5. What characteristics in these verses seem most obvious to you in your culture?
We as believers must be preparing, increasing, and adjusting our faith accordingly. This helps the future generations to be equipped as the day of the Lord draws near. We must be like the men in 2 Chronicles 12:32. What does this scripture say about them?
Read Ephesians 6:16. According to this verse, our shield of faith can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Remember that our keyword is ALL. Do you see the promise and the magnitude in this verse? Satan cannot throw a flaming arrow at us that believing God can’t extinguish. To be a warrior in Christ, all we have to do is use the weapons He has given to us.

Read Ephesians 5:1-2. Using the strong’s dictionary, what are the definitions to the following words: Dear and Children. Now read Jeremiah 33:3. Do you realize that we can call on God anytime we need Him?
Read Acts 3:6-13. Describe what occurred in this passage. Using Strong’s dictionary, define the words – marvel ye, earnestly, and holiness. What insights do you get from this? What are some major points Peter and John might have been making on how to handle miracles?
We need to know who we are in Christ and who we are not. Our part is to believe God. His part is to be God and to do what is ultimately and eternally best.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all that you do and can do. I pray that our faith will keep growing in you. I pray that we will know who you made us be and that we know who we are.
