God Reveals

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.  Amos 3:7

What does God reveal to you?

when God speaks through out the Bible, he is revealing things about Himself, His purpose, or His ways.  God’s revelations are designed to bring you I to a love relationship with Him.
When God speaks through the Holy Spirit, he is revealing something about Himself, or his nature or his character!!

God speaks when Be wants to involve a person onto his work.  God reveals Himself to help us respond to Him in faith.  We respond d to God better when we know who he is and that He can do what He says He will do.  God reveals Himself to grow our faith that will lead us to action.
We need to believe God is who he says he is. We need to believe Hod can do what He says He will do.  We will have to adjust our thinking in light of what we believe.  We will know God by experience.

God reveals His purposes so we will do His work.  He reveals his purpose so we will know what he plans to do.  There is a sequence in the Bible that shows this throughout the Bible     When God  is about to do something, he takes the initiative to go to His servants.

God uses Kingdom principles to accomplish his kingdom purposes.  He reveals His ways because it is the only way to accomplish His purposes.  Our plans and purposes must match God’s plans and purposes.  Our relationship with God is way more important then anything else in our lives.  Sometimes when God reveals his plans we do things in our own wisdom, not His.

Our ways might seem good to us. They may even be successful. However when we do it our way the mighty power of God is missing.  We will never see what God can and will do.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I pray that we will stay within your ways and wisdom to accomplish your plans.  I pray we will not depend on our own wisdom.  I pray that we will see your mighty power in your ways.
In Jesus Name

Amen
