It is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Philippians 2:13
Are you willing to allow God to work in your life for his good purposes?
God takes the initiative. God reveals himself and his activity when he goes to us. This is an invitation to join God and adjust our life to Him. In the Bible, when God encountered the people, they were never the same. They made major adjustments in their lives to be obedient to Him. That is true of today also. When we encounter God and obey, we will never be the same.
God is the Pacesetter. We need to keep our life God-centered since He is the Sovereign Lord. He always takes the initiative to accomplish His plans. We desire to do things that please God. We have to be careful that when we see God at work, not to let this become a self-centered part of our lives. We need to keep it God-centered. We will need to reorient our lives to God. We need to see things from His perspectives. We must be willing to allow God’s character to be developed in our lives. We must allow Him to reveal His thoughts to us.
When we keep our lives God-centered, we will immediately put our lives alongside God’s activity. We will be thanking God for allowing us to be apart of His plan.

Do you know how God may reveal His plan/purpose to you?
In order for God to reveal His plan, we need to sincerely seek God’s direction, wait patiently until we have a word from God, and we look to the Holy Spirit to teach us through his word. We make mistakes when we do the following things: lack in an honest heart, lack of uprightness before God, impatience with God, and counsel of men over the declarations of the scriptures.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this glorious day. God, I pray that we will sincerely seek your direction. I pray that we will wait patiently on you and let you be the pacesetter. I pray that we will be honest and upright before you.
