God’s wrath in the future will be great distress for the ungodly and the great judgment day for all people and nations. Those who who have rejected God and choose not to follow Christ, it will be a great day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom. It will be a terrible day of judgment for those who are not right with God. The final wrath of God will be those sent to eternal punishment and permanent separation from God.
For those who did not reject God and choose to follow Christ will have eternal life in Heaven with Our Triune God. We must identify with God’s wrath on sin. We must participate in God’s anger against sin, but not in the way of retaliation or revenge. That is not our place. We must show true love for what is right and true hatred for what displeases God according to his holy standard. When I say this I mean that we hate was is sin, not the person. We have to show love to society that is hard because if we don’t accept their sin then they are viewing us as being judging and hateful. We need to leave our emotions out of the picture focused on truth and look at the big picture. If we don’t speak truth of what is holy and righteous, souls are doomed to hell. Somehow we have to show love but not condone the ungodly behaviors and lifestyle. We need to show compassion in hope that our testimony and lifestyle will lead them to accept and follow Christ for themselves.
