God’s Heart of Mercy

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the Dayspring from on High has visited us, Luke 1:78

The tender mercy of our God is the heart of God.  God gives the miserable and the afflicted mercy, He joined with a desire to help us.  God’s mercy towards men is salvation.

Here is Zacharias prophesying about John the Baptist ministry.  He is talking about God’s mercies  through His son Jesus, who will be the light in the dark.

Remember Zacharias couldn’t talk until after his son John the Baptist was born.  He couldn’t talk all due to his doubt.  Through this Zacharias spoke about a pardoning mercy.  Zacharias states that in order to have salvation we have to have forgiveness for our sins.  Jesus can’t forgive on the ground of justice.  Because of his tender mercy – the mercy of our God, he made himself our God by grace.  Forgiveness comes from the tender mercy of our God.

Here is Dayspring to visit us here on earth with a purpose. Dayspring means morning light, the rising of the sun.  It is called dayspring from on high because the light of the gospel shines from Heaven.  God is the storyteller fo this earth.  Through His mercy, it shines on the people.  In Isaiah 60:1, It says “Arise, Shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.  Jesus light shine on us and through us when he is our savior.  God sent his Jesus with his heart of mercy.  This is how God redeems.

What great mercy God gives to us and lives among us.  He did this to deliver us from sin.

Let God’s tender mercy tap you heart!

Let the Dayspring visit you!

Are you ready to let Dayspring shine bright in your life?
