We can be certain that God’s love will never abandon us. With all the wrong choices we make, He will love us. This doesn’t mean that with the choices we make, there are not consequences, because there will be. Sin is sin. Disobedience is disobedience. As long as we return to him with repentance, His mercies are new every morning . God is patient, he does give us time to work through things.
God’s love is steadfast. Steadfast means resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering according to dictionary.com. Some other words for steadfast is loyal, committed, devoted, dependable, reliable, constant. Does any these words speak to you of God’s love. These word resonates with me.
God no matter what will love me. He is stable, even when I mess up. God reaches down, if I allow him and walks me through the mess I made, and he makes it beautiful in His ways as long as I am willing to be molded in him.
Lean into God’s steadfast love. He is merciful, loving God!!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your reliable love, in an unreliable world. Thank you for being my stability and walking me through the messes I make. Thank you for your mercy.
