Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face evermore! He is the Lord our God; his judgments are on all the earth. He remembers his covenant forever, the word that he commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant that he made with Abraham, his sworn promise to Isaac, which he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you, I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.” Psalm 105:1-11
Do you thank God for all things in your life?
Here it is, November 15th! We take the time to focus on this month to think about gratitude. You will start to see people on social media sharing what they are thankful for in their lives. A great way to inspire others to think about what they can be grateful for.
This section of scripture calls the Israelites to worship, praise, give thanks, and pursue a deeper relationship with God. This psalm aims at inspiring gratitude for God’s provisions and care. Do you ever take the time to think about all that God provides in your life? How about the care he gives to you?
We should share the good things that God is doing in our lives. Make known His deeds among the peoples!! We should take the time to remember all the good things God has done for us. He is so good to us. Even in the hard times, when we are faithful to Him, He is good to us. He is at work. This also should inspire us to have gratitude to God for all he has done for us.
What is your focus for this November? Can you look at all the things in your life and see God is at work?
Can you share the good things God has done in your life? Are you inspired to show gratitude to God?
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your provisions and the care you give to your children. I pray that as we go through this month, that we will look at all the goodness in you, Lord. I pray that we will thank you often throughout the day.
In Jesus Name
Amen
