Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
God I thank you for this day. I thank you for my family and friends. I thank you for what you have provided. I thank you for the adventures you take me and my family on. I thank you for being in control of all things in my life, even when I don’t understand. I know your ways are so much better than my ways. Thank you when things don’t go the way I want them to because you have a better way. I thank you IN all circumstances of my life. Even though it hard spiritually, physically, mentally, or emotionally.
Thanking God has to be every day thing. Also, not only for the positive, but thanking Him in the midst of trials. When we give thanks to God inure trials and/or hard times, we are trusting God and staying humble.
If you have never done this, I urge you to the next you have a hard time or a trial. I don’t know how to explain it, but something happens!!
Dear God,
Thank you for being my provider, my friend, my protector, my father. I pray as we go through this day we will stay focused on you and be grateful. If anyone is having a hard time or going through a trial, I ask that you be there for them just as you have been for me. I pray that they will seek you during this time and see your magnificent glory. I love you and thank you.
