His Grace is Enough

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.  Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.   2 Corinthians 12:9

God’s grace is his favoring us with what we don’t deserve.  God’s favor is His presence, love, help, and power.  When we depend on him or call out to him for help, he gives us a heavenly strength.  His grace is all we need.  We will let our dependence on him show his magnificent power; God is honored.   God’s grace is given to us by studying his word, praying, obeying, and growing our relationship with him.  In our weaknesses, but God will help us through those weaknesses.  As long as God is shining through your weakness don’t feel guilty or shameful.  As long as you rely on Christ, he will give us his strength and comfort.  When we rely on Christ, we can understand Paul’s statement: “For when I am weak, I am strong.”  Paul is referring to God’s grace!

Are you relying on God with your weakness? Are you allowing God to be boasted in your weakness?

Dear God,

I thank you for your grace.  I thank you that in our weakness, we are strong because of you.  Please help me in my weakness that I will bring you glory.

Amen
