God’s mercy is wonderful. It is much-needed for our salvation. Because of his mercy, he has caused us to be born again. Born again is a spiritual birth – regeneration. Regeneration is God bringing Christians to new life or born again from a previous state of separation from God.
His mercy for us, while we are ignorance and guilt, depravity and weakness, shows up in His love and goodness. It’s the source of our blessings, and relationship with him. God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ is showing three names to one person. He is Lord – a king, Jesus is a priest and savior, Christ is a prophet.
As for blessing God. He is worthy of us blessing him because of his abundant mercy he pours out onto us. Jesus died on the cross fo you and me, the deserves a blessing to God.
Through regeneration, we have a hope. We have a hope of an eternal life. Jesus dying on the cross and rising again is a christians hope. It’s the foundation of a christians hope.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all you do for your people. I pray that we give you blessings which you are worthy of. I pray through our regeneration that we see the hope and know we have hope in you.
