“For I know the plans I have for you.” declares the Lord. “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
God’s will is on most christians minds. We want to be obedient to his will. This thought seems to come to Seniors of high schoolers and college students. what should we do with our life? Where does God want us to be?
I have a journey quite far in this life and this verse has been a guiding post. I have gone through twists and turns to this life’s journey. I keep coming back to this verse as God guides me.
God will guide us through many things in our life. We go through happy, joyful times of accomplishments, marriage, children, and careers. Along with those moments, we deal with death of loved ones, sickness, job losses, people being offended, and relational issues. These can be minor and these can be huge.
Remember God is with you! He is with me. He is with you. He is with US!! Emmanuel – God with Us. There is our hope. We have hope as we travel through this life of suffering, pain, and hardships that God is right there with us; making it a beautiful story as long as we are seeking him and obeying him. God can heal all pain and make it a beautiful story to reflect glory back to Him.
What things are you going through? Are you trusting God? Are you seeking him? Are you putting your hope in him through the hardships?
He has you! Hope in that! Trust in him.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that we have hope. Thank you for guiding us through this life. Help us to seek your guidance. That your will be done.
