We are sons and daughters of God. God’s eyes are the purest. He will not allow anything unholy and impure to dwell with him. As his children we need to be followers of him. We need to be obedient, grateful, and humble minded. We have to continue to resist sin. As we seek him and obey his commands, and repent of our sins, our hope is in him that we are purified. We have to be faithful to our Lord. We do not want to offend God.
How do we stay pure before God?
Well, we put our hope in God. Our hope that we will live with him in eternity. With that, we have to keep from offending God with our words and with our actions. We have to be obedient and not rebellious. We have to love him enough to allow him to make the changes in our life.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that we will have hope to live faithfully for you. That we will resist sin and not offend you. I pray that we will be aware of the things that are wrong and walk away from it. Help us to live purely before you so you and I can dwell within you.
