Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him, In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of will, to the purpose of his will, to the praise fo his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the beloved. Ephesians 1: 3-6
God predestined our adoption in love. Focus on predestined for a moment!! What does it mean to you?
Predestined means a course of events determined in advance by divine will or fate according to dictionary.com.
To me this means before I was thought of, God loved me and had plans for me to be adopted into his family. Our Triune God blesses us. He is our foundation. His love made the happen, our redemption.
God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. I wonder what those blessings are? Do you wonder? For one, we are chosen, made to be holy and blameless. We have unconditional love. We are predestined for adoption. We are blessed in the Beloved. We have redemption in His blood. We are forgiven of our sins.
There are so many more I could list. Isn’t God’s love amazing!!! He is so good.
