Why did Jesus have to become flesh and blood in order to save us?
We, believers, children of God, are flesh and blood. We are human. Jesus had to become a human in order to save us. Only a true human could qualify to rescue us from Satan and his evil and retain our relationship with God.
Jesus is fully man and fully God. Jesus was theonly one capable of filling the gap that sin caused between God and man. Christ died to destroy Satan’s power over us who accepts Christ sacrifice. Jesus fress his followers from there fear of death. Jesus promises eternal life with God in Heaven.
Since, Jesus partook in the weakness of being human, we, the children of God, get to partake in the heavenly calling.
What an amazing God we serve!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that you have everything in the palm of your hands. That you know exactly what needs to happen and when. Pray that we will come to understand that you are our Triune God.
