God is honored when we put our hope and trust in him. He is honored, when we rejoice in our hope. Be joyful in ones hope can be found when we are serving God.
As we go through affliction, we should be patient. God will allow us to suffer as Jesus suffered; and in that suffering we need to be patient on God. When we rejoice in our hope, we can then be patient in our sufferings. We must patiently endure it.
then we need to be faithful in our prayer. We need to pray in our sufferings. We don’t want to be cold-hearted when we pray. Have a gentle, humble, sincere heart towards God. We need to bless our enemies with prayer. WE must pray often. When we feel the urge to pray, stop and do it.
When we pray, we learn to be patient in our affliction, we can then be joyful in our hope in God.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that as we go through affliction that we find our joy and hope in you. I pray that the Holy Spirit lead us into prayer all the time.
