Justified By His Grace

Titus 3:5-7

he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to is own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ  our savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

We are simply saved because of our Savior’s  mercy.  We don’t have to work for it.  Our sins are washed away.  We have a new spiritual birth when God forgiveness is taken place.  We, then submit our lives to Christ and follow His ways.  By attending church, reading/ studying the Bible, and fellowship with other believers; we learn how to follow Christ.  We follow His purpose for our lives.

Justified is having, done for, or marked by a good or legitimate reason.  The theology definition is declared or made righteous in the sight of God.  By His grace we are declared and made righteous in His sight.  We are not guilty of our sins no more when we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.

When we are sinners we are condemn to eternal death.  There is no hope in that.  When we are saved, we have hope in eternal life with Him.  We become God’s children and become heirs with Christ.

Today, would you like to be saved and have eternal hope?

Would you life to live your life for our triune God?

Pray today asking Jesus to be your Lord and savior!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for sending you son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins.  I ask that Jesus be Lord and Savior of my life.  I ask for forgiveness of my sins.  I want to live my life to your will and purpose.

In Jesus Name

Amen
