For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
There will come a time when sound biblical teaching will not be the thing to do. There will be a time when some will not want to hear truth. Has that time arrived today? If things get worse than what they already are?
There has always been a time where people don’t want to listen to biblical truth. They refuse to listen and support the biblical teachers. If it contradicts or challenges their behavior, they don’t want anything to do with it. However, in the end times, the defiance will grow worse. People will go to church, claim to be Christians, per tray they are honoring God, yet not tolerate the truth of God. They won’t turn away from their own selfish ways.
What they will do is turn away from listening to the truth. They will start to complain about the preaching That boldly defend the truth and stands firm against sin. Ministers and teachers who will speak messages will compromise the principles of God’s word. This will be Subtle. They will want the approval of man. Man will want to hear messages that will not speak against their lifestyle. They will look for ministers who will help make them feel good about their choices. They will look for ministers who will water down the biblical truth. Churches will be for entertainment, not hearing God’s truth.
The Holy Spirit warns all triple leaders to expect persecution and suffering for their faith. They will separate themselves from the churches and people who claim to follow Christ, but deny any biblical truths. True believers must be loyal to the New Testament message of Christ. We must pray for it support God’s faithful ministers who preach and teach it. When we do this, we can be assured of close companionship with Christ and times of spiritual refreshing from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all you do! I pray that we will be true followers of you. I pray that we will be sincere and encourage our ministers. I pray that when it gets harder to stand firmly in you , that you will helps us in this area.
