Love Everyone

You have heard that it was said, ‘love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you May be children of your Farher in heaven.  He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?  Are not even the tax collector doing that?  Matthew 5:43-46

Wow!! Can you love your enemies?   Let’s be honest, it’s really hard to love your enemies. Yet, Here God is telling us to love our enemies. We need to pray for those who persecute us. I am thankful for the verses that tell us how God wants us to treat others. God loves everyone and we may not agree with how they choose to live, but we are still called to love them all.

Aren’t you thankful for this verse?  As hard as it is to love every one; I am grateful that God has told us what he expects from us!

He has commanded us to love everyone!  However, that is hard to do!  The only way we can love all is by having a personal relationship with God!  We need to spend time in prayer, worship, and in his word!  The more we have him in our lives the more we will be able to love others!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am really thankful for you word!  That you speak to us of what you want us to do and how to treat others!  I know we fail in this area!  I pray that we will spend more time with you and learn through your guidance on how to love others well!
In Jesus Name

Amen
