Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God, and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is Love.
Can I just be honest here? This verse is kinda scary! If we don’t love others we don’t know God. We won’t know who he is because he is love and we don’t love others. I don’t know about you, but I want to know God. I choose to love others.
Love is a choice and an action. God is our source of our love. the Holy Spirit gives us as the power to love. He lives in us. He helps us to be more and more like Christ.
Love is not selfish or at least God’s love isn’t. This is the love we want to spread around to others.
Loving other is hard. With God’s help, we can love others. 
When you have to choose to love the not so loveable, Remember you can through God.

Ask God for help! He will help you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving us and showing us what real true love is. Please help us to love the people around us. Event the ones that hard for us to love. We want to know you.
