consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those to draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25
Jesus is our mediator. He is the reason we can draw close to God. Jesus has taken his place of highest honor and authority with his father in heaven. He continually intercede for each of his believers according to his fathers desires, plans, and purposes.
Have you ever had to intercede for someone? This is what Jesus does for us. Through Jesus ministry of intercession, we get to experience God’s love, mercy, grace, and God’s presence. He helps us in any need, temptation, weaknesses, and trials. In John 17, Jesus prayed a high Presley prayer before his death. His desire was to fill in the powers followers with the Holy Spirit. Jesus wants his followers to understand his primary character of his ministry. Jesus is the one who intercedes with God for us. Jesus last prayer is his deepest desire for all of his followers. Jesus wants us to know his and his word intimately. He wants God to protect us from evil. He wants us to reject ungodly believes and fall spiritual teaching.
Since Jesus interceded for us, to those who draw near to God, completely receive God‘s grace to be saved. Christ intercession as our high priest is mandatory for our salvation.
Jesus doesn’t remain as a mediator for those who fall away from God. When we refuse to confess sins and repent, Jesus can’t intercede for us.
Jesus is our ONLY mediator and intercessor. He is the only way to God and Heaven. Angels and dead saints will not do what Jesus does for us.

Dear Heavenly Father,
