“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.””
Luke 2:13-14
God’s word is filled with promises. God promised peace to His people. It is important for us to be in God’s word and remind ourselves of His promises.
The angels said that peace on earth to people He favors! Right here God kept his promise! Peace was a huge part of Christ coming to earth. We get peace with God through Jesus. We have peace because we know we are God’s child.
When we go through hard situations we can still have Gods peace! God’s peace is for all believers in Our Triune God. We can have peace in the waiting of any situation as long as we trust God! Christ has the ultimate victory!
Isaiah 26:3 says You will keep the mind that is dependent on you in perfect peace, for it is trusting in you. We need to be constantly surrendering to God! How do we surrender constantly though? One way is through prayer! We need to be in prayer. Prayer helps keeps our mind and eyes on God!
There is freedom in Christ when we walk with him! In the freedom we can have peace.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your peace. I pray that we will surrender our all to you daily! I pray that we will keep our eyes and mind focused on you!
