“This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.”

When you are in trouble, do you panic? Or do you remain calm? Personally really depends where I am at emotionally and mentally.
God’s people held onto, from generation to generation, to God’s promise to be rescued. Since the day of our fall, Satan and woman have hostility between them! This has has been passed down from generation to generation. Basically, a child of Eve(Jesus) will crush Satan! Jesus will defeat satan and rescue His people!
God’s people knew that they needed rescued, however they would forget.god would send prophets and judges to help them to remember His promise.
After a period of time, God fulfilled his promise and sent a rescuer to His people. He did this through the course of key people who were humble people. An angel, Gabriel, appeared to Zechariah, a humble priest, who was along in age. The angel told Zechariah not to be afraid. The angel told him that his wife would have a son. He would be called John the Baptist. This child will point everyone to our rescuer. Then the angel came before Mary and Joseph separately. He told them both not to be afraid. And told them of the the coming savior. Gabriel’s message come down to one point: Our Rescuer, the one who will save us from sin, is now with us!!! Peace has arrived!!!!!
Hallelujah!!! Peace on earth! Jesus has come.
Peace On Earth! God with us! Are you willing to share this news with others??
what is stopping you from sharing this good news? Fear?? Remember the angel said “Do not be afraid” Be courageous and share peace with others!
