Prayer Time

Our Father in heaven,
Your name is honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not bring us into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
[For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.]

Let’s take some time and focus on prayer.  Look up these verses and glean from them.

Prayer!  It’s a conversation with God.  Do you struggle with praying?  Is it intimidating to you to pray to God?  Is there a right way to pray or maybe even a wrong way to pray?  Are there different kinds of prayers or even a different way to pray? Do you get excited each day to go and talk with God?

Read the following passages of scripture: Psalm 19:14

Do you set aside time each day for one on one time with God?

Take time to meditate on this verse and then offer a prayer to God about Him being right and good because. . .

Now take some time a talk to God.  Praise His holy name, ask him what he wants, then ask him what you need, pray for others, our country, then pause and listen to Him speak to you.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for letting us come and sit at your feet and talk to you.  You are so awesome.  I pray that during this time, we will have confidence in approaching you and talking to you.  I pray that we will not get intimidated by prayer. I pray that we will pause long enough to hear your voice and hear what you have to say to each of us.

In Jesus Name

Amen
