It’s the blessing that comes from our relationship with them. Joy is more then an emotion of happiness. It’s deeper.
Joy is God’s immeasurable love for us. It’s also the peace and hope we have because of what Christ did for us. The greatest joy will be will when God reveals what’s been stored up for those who are faithful.
The following points are what the Bible teaches about joy. First, Joy is directly related to spiritual salvation that is provided by Jesus sacrifice. Oh is also connect with the Bible. True joy does not increase or decrease depending on our feelings or our circumstances. It is based on the foundation of what Christ did for us on His eternal and unchanging Word.
Second, Joy comes from one aspect of the Holy Spirit’s fruit. The characteristic that comes from developing a Christian life. Joy doesn’t come automatically. It is only experienced as we remain in a growing relationship with God. Our joy increases as the Holy Spirit gives us a deeper sense of God’s presence and nearness. Jesus taught that the joy is in direct connection to knowing and remaining g in God’s word, obey his commands, loving others , and being set apart from the sin of the world.
Third, Joy comes from the nearness and comfort of God. His gifts of forgiveness, spiritual salvation and an eternal relationship with him. True joy can’t be ruined or destroyed by pain, suffering, weakness, or difficult situations.
